When quality and accuracy are essential, Alco Enterprises puts over 10 years of bullet manufacturing experience behind its line of products and services. Custom jacketed rifle bullets in .223, 6.5mm, and .308 calibers will satisfy any competition tactical, benchrest, or long range shooter. Aluminum ballistic tip and steel tip .308 bullets add to the unique offering from Alco Enterprises. Swaged lead pistol bullets are available in .40, .44, and .45 calibers. We also manufacture lead wire for rifle and pistol caliber jacketed core and lead bullets.

Every bullet from Alco Enterprises is swaged by hand, one at a time. We offer concentricity and ultrasound testing services to assure exact weight, dimensions, roundness, and balance. Reloading services and other custom bullet work is available.

WHAT IS SWAGING?

Swaging uses room-temperature materials that can include solid, jacketed, or lead, plastic and powdered metals. The tools include a high pressure press that can flow the bullet materials without melting them, and high precision dies with matching punches that instantly give the materials their final dimensions (shape, caliber, and internal constructions). Swaging is used by most major ammunition companies, benchrest bullet makers, and virtually everyone who is interested in making the most accurate bullet possible. Unlike casting or machining, this method of production is suited to high-volume manufacturing with virtually no variation from bullet to bullet.
